North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to Porter Ridge

March 15, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28227

In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates lacrosse squad scored a good 13-1 victory over the Independence Patriots.

The Pirates now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weddington for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River test on Friday, March 18. Porter Ridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck test, on Thursday, March 17. Independence will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-5 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
