The Porter Ridge Pirates triumphed over the visiting Independence Patriots lacrosse team by a score of 19-9 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates host Butler (Matthews, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, March 7. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 0-3. Providence lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)
