The Rains Wildcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Rains improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to clash with the Patriots in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Thursday, March 17. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 5-3. Prairiland won 4-0 in their recent league game against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX)

In their next game, the Buffaloes clash with the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Lone Oak will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Rains (Emory, TX).
