The Rains Wildcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Rains improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to clash with the Patriots in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, April 12. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 12-3. Prairiland won 5-0 in their recent league game against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX)

In their next game, the Buffaloes clash with the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Thursday, April 14. Lone Oak will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record.
