North Carolina High School Softball - Lumberton bounces South View

March 15, 2022: Lumberton, NC 28358

The Lumberton Pirates routed the visiting South View Tigers softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the United Eight 3A/4A battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Jack Britt was routed by Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 16-5, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Purnell Swett for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Friday, March 18. South View will meet a Rams squad coming off a 16-5 league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
