California High School Softball - St. Anthony bounces Mary Star of the Sea

The St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) softball routed the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), 7-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Saints (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the Del Rey bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, St. Paul held off Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA), 19-0, in a league bout.

The Stars now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Amat for a Del Rey bout on Thursday, March 17. Mary Star of the Sea will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-3.
