Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), 13-12 in a league battle.

The Vikings now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Croatan for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 16. Hoggard will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern battle, on Friday, March 17. Topsail will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 13-3 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).
