Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), 10-5 in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chantilly for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 20. Hayfield will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Stallions clash with the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. South County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
