New Mexico High School Baseball - Artesia sneaks past Hobbs

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) and the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), saw Artesia's baseball team get by Hobbs by a tally of 4-3.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Deming held off Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Hobbs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
