The Artesia Bulldogs baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Hobbs Eagles to 13 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roswell for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Artesia will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Hobbs drops to 4-14 on the year. The Eagles host Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-6. Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Trinity (Midland, TX)
