California High School Baseball - Fernley defeats South Tahoe

March 15, 2025: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) and the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), saw Fernley's baseball team gain a win over South Tahoe by a tally of 10-5.

The Vaqueros (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave enter the 3A North - East battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Churchill County held off Truckee (Truckee, CA), 11-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings face the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a 3A North - West battle, on Wednesday, March 19. South Tahoe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 18-5 non-league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
