In Saturday's league match, the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks.

The Yellowjackets (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Sharks come into the 6A Region III District 22 match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Shadow Creek notched a victory over Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX), 22-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 match, on Tuesday, March 18. Pasadena Memorial will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Mavericks come into the match with a 8-8 record after their 14-1 league loss to Dobie (Houston, TX).
