The Screven County Gamecocks baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Portal Panthers to 0 in the Gamecocks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gamecocks now hold a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 17. Screven County will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-5.
Next, the Panthers face the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 17. Portal will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 8-3 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Coffee (Douglas, GA).
