The Screven County Gamecocks crushed the visiting Portal Panthers baseball team by a count of 11-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Gamecocks now possess a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Metter for a A Public Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 23. Screven County will face a Tigers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
Next, the Panthers face the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A Public Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 23. Portal will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
