The Eunice Cardinals baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Jal Panthers to 1 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Kermit beat Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Jal falls to 2-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to encounter the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Hatch Valley lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
