California High School Softball - Downey falls to Pitman

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Pitman Pride softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Downey Knights.

Coming up next, the Pride battle the Gregori Jaguars (Modesto, CA) in a Central California Athletic outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Pitman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the outing with a 6-1 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Los Banos (Los Banos, CA).

The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Enochs (Modesto, CA). The Eagles enter the Central California Athletic outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Enochs ran past Turlock (Turlock, CA), 14-0, in a league outing.
