California High School Softball - Pitman can't hold off Downey

The Pitman Pride softball team (Turlock, CA), was tipped 6-5 in Thursday's league test with the host Downey Knights (Modesto, CA)

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Enochs Eagles (Modesto, CA) in a Central California Athletic test, on Tuesday, May 2. Downey will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 16-2 record after their 11-0 league win over Turlock (Turlock, CA).

The Pride (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars come into the Central California Athletic test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Gregori edged Modesto (Modesto, CA), 6-1, in a league test.
