Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA), 25-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Las Lomas for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Carondelet will battle a Knights squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Acalanes falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to battle the Cougars in a challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Campolindo lost 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Albany (Albany, CA)
