The Hartsville Red Foxes softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs to 6 in the Red Foxes league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hartsville moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Red Foxes travel to West Florence (Florence, SC) to clash with the Knights in a AAAA Region 6 game on Monday, March 20. The Knights come into the game with a record of 3-5.

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the South Florence Bruins (Florence, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 game, on Tuesday, March 21. North Myrtle Beach will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record.
