The Georgetown Bulldogs baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Plain Dealing Lions to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvin for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Georgetown will play a Cougars team coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Plain Dealing drops to 2-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Converse (Converse, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 8-9.
