The Georgetown Bulldogs baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Plain Dealing Lions to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northwood for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Georgetown will play a Gators team coming off a 18-6 non-league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, LA). The Gators record now stands at 8-11.
With the defeat, Plain Dealing drops to 3-14 on the year. The Lions host Arcadia (Arcadia, LA) to play the Hornets in a 1A District 1 test on Friday, April 11. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-11. Arcadia won 17-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA)
