In Monday's non-league contest, the host Hayfield Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 triumph over the Alexandria City Titans.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Seahawks go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, South Lakes by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 9-2, in a non-league contest.
