The Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), 6-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Uintah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Maeser Prep Academy will encounter a Utes squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Kearns (Kearns, UT). The Utes record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Merit Preparatory Academy moves to 1-3 on the year. The Knights host Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A Central challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Freedom Prep Academy lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT)
