Utah High School Soccer - Maeser Prep Academy knocks off Merit Preparatory Academy

In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights.
The Lions (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Eagles go into the 2A Northern outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, American Leadership Academy by St. Joseph (Ogden, UT), 9-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Knights play the Telos Titans (Orem, UT) in a 2A Central outing, on Tuesday, April 15. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Titans go into the outing with a 0-7 record after their 9-0 league loss to Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT).
