Texas High School Softball - Anderson bested by Bastrop

March 17, 2025: Austin, TX 78759

The Bastrop Bears triumphed over the host Anderson Trojans softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Bears play the McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Bastrop will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 17-1 league win over Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX).

The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Navarro (Austin, TX). The Vikings enter the 5A Region III District 24 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Navarro was routed by Crockett (Austin, TX), 16-1, in a league challenge.
