The Denison Yellow Jackets baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Princeton Panthers to 1 in the Yellow Jackets league victory on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Melissa was overwhelmed by Ennis (Ennis, TX), 6-4, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Leopards go into the 5A Region II District 10 match with a 7-7 record.
