The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Southwest Guilford's lacrosse team top High Point Central by a margin of 16-1.
The Cowboys (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies enter the Metro challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Grimsley beat Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 16-3, in a league challenge.
The Bison (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Atkins was overwhelmed by North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 18-4, in a league challenge.
