North Carolina High School Softball - Gray Stone Day loses to North Stanly

March 18, 2022: Misenheimer, NC 28109

The North Stanly Comets softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Gray Stone Day Knights to 3 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, North Stanly improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Comets host Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, March 21. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 0-5. Salisbury lost 10-1 in their recent non-league game against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, March 22. Gray Stone Day will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 7-0 record after their 16-0 league win over Robinson (Concord, NC).
