The Lubbock Westerners softball team (Lubbock, TX), was routed 10-0 in Saturday's league test with the host Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX)
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 test, on Tuesday, March 21. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 6-3 record after their 8-2 non-league win over St. Pius X (Houston, TX).
The Westerners (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 4 challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Wylie was routed by Monterey (Lubbock, TX), 4-3, in a league challenge.
