The Abilene Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Lubbock Westerners to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Abilene moves its record to 23-5 on the year. The Eagles host Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 4 game on Friday, April 14. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 7-7.
In their next game, the Westerners play the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 game, on Friday, April 14. Lubbock will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record.
