In Saturday's non-league contest, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) softball team overwhelmed the host Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Copperheads travel to Laurens (Laurens, SC) to play the Raiders in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 18. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 contest, on Wednesday, March 22. Wando will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 12-7 non-league win over James Island (Charleston, SC).
