Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Griffins confront the Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Wednesday, March 20. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Corner Canyon (Draper, UT).

The Chargers now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Herriman for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, March 20. Corner Canyon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Weber (Pleasant View, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
