In Monday's league battle, the visiting Salt Lake Academy Griffins soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Corner Canyon Chargers.

The Griffins (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Sentinels go into the 6A Region 2 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Mountain Ridge Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 1-1, in a league battle.
