The Midway Raiders softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Triton Hawks to 7 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Midway improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Raiders host South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 20. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 3-3. South Lenoir lost 6-0 in their recent league game against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a All American 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, March 19. Triton will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
