North Carolina High School Baseball - Gray's Creek loses to South View

March 18, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC), 7-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, South View moves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, March 20. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 3-4. West Columbus lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)

The Bears now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas Byrd for a United Eight 3A/4A match on Wednesday, March 19. Gray's Creek will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
