The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw South Brunswick's baseball team gain a win over New Hanover by a tally of 11-5.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern 3A/4A battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Topsail held off North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 6-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A battle, on Friday, March 21. New Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the battle with a 8-0 record after their 7-5 league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).
