Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) and the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), saw Polk County's soccer squad triumph over Chase by a score of 5-0.

The Wolverines (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, R-S Central tipped East Rutherford (Forest City, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Chase will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
