The South View Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Lumberton Pirates to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Purnell Swett for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Friday, March 21. South View will play a Rams squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Lumberton moves to 3-4 on the year. The Pirates host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Terry Sanford won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Triton (Erwin, NC)
