The Union Pines Vikings baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Scotland Fighting Scots to 3 in the Vikings non-league win on Tuesday.
The Vikings now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Harnett for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Union Pines will play a Eagles team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Scotland drops to 4-5 on the year. The Fighting scots travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 7-1. Union Pines won 14-1 in their recent non-league test against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
