The Scotland Fighting Scots baseball squad (Laurinburg, NC), was overwhelmed 14-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC)
With the triumph, Union Pines moves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to North Moore (Robbins, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 3-1.
The Fighting Scots now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton for a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. Scotland will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
