North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt topped by Cape Fear

Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Cape Fear upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Colts host Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 19. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 8-1. Triton won 19-1 in their recent league game against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)

The Buccaneers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Westover for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 19. Jack Britt will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-6.
