North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt drops to Cape Fear

April 10, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28306

Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), 18-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Cape Fear improves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Colts travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, April 14. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 7-6. Hoggard won 4-0 in their recent league game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)

The Buccaneers now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 22. Jack Britt will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears record now stands at 16-2.
