The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the visiting Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX), observed Gilmer's softball team get by Henderson by a tally of 2-0.

The Buckeyes (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region II District 16 bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Pine Tree by Carthage (Carthage, TX), 13-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 bout, on Friday, March 21. Henderson will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 20-7 league loss to Spring Hill (Longview, TX).
