North Carolina High School Softball - Mallard Creek bounces North Mecklenburg

The Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) softball routed the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 19-6 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Mavericks now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harding University for a Queen City 3A/4A outing on Thursday, March 20. Mallard Creek will encounter a Rams team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, North Mecklenburg moves to 2-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Hawks in a Queen City 3A/4A outing on Thursday, March 20. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 0-4. West Mecklenburg lost 19-0 in their recent league outing against Hough (Cornelius, NC)
