North Carolina High School Softball - Rosman bounces Mitchell

March 18, 2025: Rosman, NC 28772

In Tuesday's league match, the host Rosman Tigers softball team scored a tight 15-10 win over the Mitchell Mountaineers.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the Western Highlands 1A/2A match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Mitchell was routed by Patton (Morganton, NC), 26-11, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 20. Mitchell will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 16-6 non-league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
