North Carolina High School Softball - Rosman succumbs to Mitchell

March 21, 2025: Bakersville, NC 28705

In Friday's league test, the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), by a tally of 14-3.

Next, the Mountaineers clash with the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A test, on Tuesday, March 25. Mitchell will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Marshall, NC). The Patriots go into the Western Highlands 1A/2A test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Madison was routed by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 5-4, in a league test.
