The Sacred Heart Trojans softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Jena Giants to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Sacred Heart improves its record to 12-11 on the year. The Trojans travel to Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 22. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 0-3.

In their next game, the Giants clash with the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 22. Jena will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Florien (Florien, LA).
