The Volcano Vista Hawks softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting La Cueva Bears to 5 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Volcano Vista improves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 24. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a record of 7-3. Los Alamos won 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM)
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 23. La Cueva will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
