Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA), 65-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aliquippa upgrades its record to 26-5 on the season. The Quips travel to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, March 22. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 25-3. Holy Cross won 78-66 in their recent non-league bout against Constitution (Philadelphia, PA)
