The Willow Spring Storm lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the host Corinth Holders Pirates to 0 in the Storm league win on Tuesday.
The Storm (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the Greater Neuse River match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Fuquay - Varina prevailed over Clayton (Clayton, NC), 9-8, in a league match.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Jordan (Durham, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Jordan was overwhelmed by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 11-7, in a non-league match.
